Arroz con pollo, una ensalada, y un melocotón. Delicioso. Alicia makes amazing food. I missed her cooking these passed few days. I went on a trip to León with the BCA Group – it was part of our art history class. It took us twelve hours to get there by bus, but it was well worth it. We visited Cathedrals and walked around different cities in Spain - León, Burgos, Astorga y Zaragosa. I have learned so incredibly much these past few days, it's kind of ridiculous. At the same time, I'm freaking out - because there is still so much MORE to learn. I yet have to go back to my notes, and study for my art history exam on Friday. I am pretty nervous about it, since everything we are being taught is in Spanish. Therefore I have not entirely understood everything. I guess I have some extra studying to do.

I had my first class today - the semester has begun! I'm studying the Spanish Civil War - I love my professor already - his name is Julio. I'm hoping I like my other classes just as much...

I am not going to lie – living on your own is not easy. It is pretty overwhelming and stressful. Yet, I love it. Plus, it’s just the beginning… so I’ll get used to it very soon. I am officially sick as of today - I have a cold. no bueno. pero esta bien. Alicia takes care of me :)

I miss my family a lot. And my friends. I wish I had been there to celebrate Eid with everyone. It’s my favorite time of the year, and I missed it… I was pretty sad to find out that I had to spend my Eid on a bus for twelve hours. I was pretty bummed. But the night after we arrived in León, we had dinner at an Indian/Pakistani restaurant. I went with about twenty other BCA students – we ate all their food, literally. It was so nice to have chicken biryani, and share some laughs and stories with the other students. That was my Eid.

I miss home a lot, but at the same time, I know that time is going to fly by before I know it... I have already been living in Spain for 2 weeks!

I have accumulated a total of 521 photos already...
